When the break-up by proxy goes terribly, Christian deflects from his guilt by using the remaining two hours he has hired Alejandro for, to live out his childhood fantasy of being friends with David Bowie.

Applause
Applause is a dark comedy about two men engaged in a fierce and absurd competition for the loudest applause during what seems to be a highly prestigious theatre performance. Their exaggerated enthusiasm spirals out of control, leaving them drenched in sweat, disoriented, bruised and bleeding from the intensity of their clapping. The film humorously explores the absurdity of ego and rivalry, while ultimately revealing the lengths we go to for those we love in even the most unexpected situations.
